Getting in

Check-in

Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Before then the apartment is still being cleaned and made ready.

The instructions for opening the door go out to you in the message we send before you arrive — keep that message handy, it also has our number.
Tell us roughly what time you expect to get here so somebody is expecting you.
If you land early, message us. Sometimes we can let you in sooner, and when we cannot, we can usually keep your bags.

If anything at all does not work when you arrive, write to us right away rather than trying repeatedly.

If you arrive late or after dark

A late arrival is not a problem — we just need to know in advance.

Message us the same day with your expected time so we can hand over the entry instructions and stay reachable.
The roads out here have little or no street lighting and the last part of the way is dark. Come slowly and bring your phone flashlight for the walk from the car.
Arriving at night is much easier by taxi than driving yourself for the first time.
Have some cash for the ride — there is no ATM out here.

Parking

If you are coming by car, tell us before you arrive and we will tell you exactly where to leave it.

Do not block the neighbors' entrances or the lane — it is narrow and vehicles need to pass.
Leave nothing visible inside the car overnight.
After heavy rain the ground here can be soft. Keep to the firm part rather than pulling onto the soft edge.
