Drinking water

Do not drink the tap water. That is true across the city and it is not a comment on this apartment, we do not drink it either.

  • There is a water filter in the apartment. Use it for drinking and for ice. If you cannot find it, ask us and we will tell you where it is.
  • Showering, washing your hands and doing the dishes with tap water is completely fine.
  • If you prefer bottled, the supermarket nearby sells it by the garrafón, the big refillable jug you will see all over Mexico.

The kitchen and the laundry

The kitchen is there to be used. Cook in it, do not tiptoe around it.

  • It has a cooktop, a microwave and a fridge. Dishes, pots and the basics are already there.
  • Take a look around when you arrive, before you are standing there with the groceries. If something is missing, ask and we will work it out.
  • The laundry is inside the apartment. If you are staying several days, that is the reason you can pack lighter.
  • Wash dishes as you go. Leave the kitchen the way you would like to find it.
