Connectivity and services

Internet: ask us before you travel

We would rather tell you this plainly now than have you discover it on arrival.

Wi-Fi is not listed as part of this house, so this guide gives you no network and no password — we are not going to promise you something we cannot guarantee. If your stay depends on being connected, write to us before you travel and we will tell you exactly what the connectivity situation is for your dates. This is a question we answer when you book, not one the guide can answer for you.

  • Do not count on mobile data to fill the gap either. We do not take coverage for granted up on this hillside: it can change from one street to the next, and we have no verified picture of it for this address. Ask us what to expect before you travel. If you are coming from abroad, sort out roaming or a local SIM or eSIM before you arrive, not after.
  • If you work remotely, have video calls, or have a deadline during the stay, tell us in advance. We will give you a straight answer about what to expect rather than a hopeful one.
  • Download maps, boarding passes, music and anything else you will need offline before you set off.
  • If you need to sit somewhere connected for a couple of hours, ask us and we will point you at the nearest sensible option down in the towns.
