Getting in

Check-in from 4:00 PM

Check-in is from 4:00 PM — 16:00. Please note the hour: it is an hour later than the 3:00 PM many people are used to, and it is the time the house is genuinely ready.

Before that we are still cleaning and preparing the house between guests.
The instructions for the development entrance and for opening the door go out in the message we send before you travel — have it saved on your phone.
Tell us roughly what time you expect to get here, and message us again when you are on the road.
If you land early, write to us. Sometimes the house is ready sooner and we can tell you so; when it is not, we will tell you honestly and help you plan the wait.
If anything does not work when you arrive, message us straight away instead of trying it over and over.

If you arrive late or after dark

A late arrival is not a problem. Arriving late without the directions is the thing to avoid.

Message us the same day with your expected time, so you have the access and door instructions in hand and we stay reachable while you are on the road.
The lakeside road is dark, and inside a residential development the streets look alike at night. Read the directions before you set off, not at the wheel.
Bring your phone flashlight for the last few steps from the car.
Do not count on asking someone for directions late at night — this is a quiet residential area and there is not much movement.
Have cash on you if someone else is driving you.

Parking

If you are coming by car, tell us before you arrive and we will tell you exactly where to leave it.

The streets inside the development are shared with people who live here all year. Do not block a neighbor's entrance and always leave room for a car to pass.
Leave nothing visible inside the car overnight.
If you have more than one vehicle, let us know in advance — it is worth agreeing where they go before you turn up with them.
